For law firms
AI and Workflow Automation for Law Firms
Connect your practice management, document and communication tools so routine administrative work moves on its own, while attorneys and staff keep control of every decision that matters.
Workflows we automate for law firms
Matter intake and routing
Turn inquiries from forms, email and phone notes into structured records in your practice management system, assigned to the right person.
Boundary: Conflict checks and engagement decisions stay with the firm. Automation only prepares the information for them.
Document organization and retrieval
Apply consistent naming, metadata and folder rules, and let staff search approved documents within the permissions they already have.
Boundary: Original records are preserved. Extracted fields go to staff for review.
Task and calendar workflows
Create tasks from matter events, send internal reminders and escalate overdue work, all from dates your team has entered and confirmed.
Boundary: Legal deadlines are never calculated without verified rules and attorney review.
Client communication support
Prepare routine status updates and appointment reminders for staff to approve, using only the channels and consent settings your firm has set up.
Time, billing and admin reminders
Nudge timekeepers about missing entries, route invoices for review and keep administrative records in sync across tools.
Internal knowledge assistants
Answer staff questions from your approved procedures, templates and checklists, with source references and escalation when the answer is uncertain.
Boundary: Never a substitute for attorney judgment or legal research.

Frequently asked questions
What kinds of law firm work can be automated safely?
Repetitive administrative steps are the safest place to start: routing inquiries, creating tasks, organizing documents, sending internal reminders and preparing routine updates for review. Work that requires legal judgment should be supported by automation, not performed by it.
Is AI required for law firm automation?
No. Many valuable workflows are rule-based integrations with no AI model involved. We recommend AI only where it adds clear value, such as searching approved documents or drafting a routine update for staff to edit, and only with a privacy design your firm approves.
How do you handle confidentiality?
We design around least-privilege access, encryption, audit logs, data minimization and human approval for sensitive actions, and we review every vendor before connecting it. We don't claim blanket compliance with any framework. Your firm and its advisers decide what's acceptable for your obligations.
Do you work with small firms or only large ones?
Scope matters more than size. A small firm with one painful, repetitive workflow is often a good fit for a focused first project.
